Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).
Perm candidates of any Other providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.
Patient diagnoses :- Labor/Preterm labor- 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms- Circulate, OB-GYN, Post-Op, Pre-Op, Scrub, Low Risk Antepartum, Low Risk LD.
Special procedures :- Blood/Blood Products Administration- Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Cooling / Warming Blanket- Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, Syringe Pumps- Wound Vac- Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.
Special equipment :- Attends All Deliveries, Attends High Risk Deliveries- GYN Surgeries, Couplet Care, Low Risk Antepartum, Transition Nursery.
Float: yes, Post-Partum, NICU based on skill set
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Infants, Adults
Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.
Scheduling: Facility scheduling needs must be met; special requests (e.g., block scheduling, late starts) will not be accommodated.
Housing: IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.
NRP - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or Heart&Stroke certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only
5 days maximum time off
2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
