Intensive Care Unit Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Weekend Hours: 3 weekends per 6-week schedule

3x 12 or 4 x12 hour

Must be flexible to float where need, could include CICU, MS, Tele & ER

Equipment Used on Unit:

Ceiling lifts, hoyer lifts, sit to stand lifts, extensive amount of safe-patient handling equipment, Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps

Required Skills/Experience:

Trauma/Neuro experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Sepsis, Shock, Multi-organ failure, Respiratory Failure, Trauma, Neuro/brain injuries, Complicated surgeries, stroke, encephalopathy

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required for submission

Certifications:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
