Critical Care - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Critical Care

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend is every other. Will accept 3x12s.

Floating Requirements: : Must be willing to float MS/Tele, ER (for CC holds)

Special Requests: : RTO required with submission

Required Skills/Experience: : 6Hrs total of Stroke education (we can provide if needed), EKG course completion (we can provide in needed)

Preferred Skills/Experience: : Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience.

Unit Details: : 20 beds

Types of Patients on Unit: : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Required Credentials: : TNCC or TCAR,

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
