Experience:

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required from the last 4 years.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

Required Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable with conscience & moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips, such as Integrilin, dopamine, & vasopressins, as well as balloon pumps.

Types of Patients on Unit: Cardiac/Coronary, Vascular, Peripheral, General IR (interventional radiology), EP & Neuro intervention. All perm staff cross-trained in each area.

Unit Details: Suites: 5 Suites: 2 suites primarily for coronary cases; 1 suite - peripheral cases; 1 suite - vascular & neuro cases; 1 suite for EP cases (electrophysiology)

Shift & Scheduling: Call: They are a STEMI (ST Elevated Myocardial Infarction) Center. They are not open on weekends; however, rotate call for inpatient cases, urgent and emergent cases, etc. Ends up being 1X/week & 1 weekend/month. Weekend call runs from Friday evening trough Monday am; however, this is subject to change depending on the needs of the unit.

EMR System: Cath lab documentation is Merge

Basic EKG interpretation test assigned during orientation.

Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

Drivers license required for submission

BLS (Basic Life Support)
