Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from the last 2 years

Requirements:

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required for submission).

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required. No block scheduling.Sterile Processing Tech only: Must have experience at a similar sized hospital (minimum 400 bed size) Surgical Technologist only: Must have Level 1 experience or comparable Level 2 experience (in a larger city/large bed size)

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have Cardizem and Amiodarone Drip exp.

Telemetry

Will be flexible on holiday coverage.

Willing to entertain extended contacts to cover holidays!

Shift & Scheduling:

48 or 36 hrs/wk

Every other weekend.

Rotating holidays.

Unit Details: Thompson is a 39-bed, mixed-acuity facility that specializes in medical, surgical, and stepdown level of care. Patient population is primarily the elderly but can be as young as 18.

RN Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1, depending on patient acuity.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from any number of months (Any reference type) - required for submission
