Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Local & travel allowed.
Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Unit details: Ratios/Daily Caseload: 4 bed ICU.
Magnet/Teaching/Level Trauma (if applicable): Critical Access, Magnet hospital.
Total Staffed Beds: 25 beds.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments performed on unit:
Chest tubes, bedside dialysis catheter insertion, central line insertion
Shift and scheduling:
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.
Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Floating requirements
Will float as needed.
Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by
Required skills/experience:
Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response
Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias,
Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. IV insulin protocols experience required.
Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience required.
Required IV therapy Skills/Experience: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips.
Required Respiratory/Thoracic Case Skills/Experience: Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management.
Required Professional Topics and Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac. Cerner experience preferred.
