Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking an ER Flow Facilitator RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to be responsible for the overall movement of patients in a safe and efficient manner. This position will facilitate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse and attending to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process.
- Work in conjunction with the ER providers and admitting physicians to determine the appropriate admission status and level of care.
- Facilitate and foster communication, patient flow, staff support, regulatory compliance, care coordination, transfers, and policy and process development.
- Coordinatecare delivery within the organization.
- Identifyprocess gaps, coordinate change strategies, andassistin implementation of change management.
- Demonstrateknowledge and application of the nursing process.
- Work in conjunction with the ERproviders and admitting physicians to determine the appropriate admission status and level of care.
- Facilitate and foster communication, patient flow, staff support, regulatory compliance, care coordination, transfers, and policy and process development.
- Coordinate care delivery within the organization.
- Identify process gaps, coordinate change strategies, and assist in implementation of change management.
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- BLS-AHA Provider issued cardrequiredwithin30 days of start
- 3+yearsofexperienceas an RN in an ED setting required
