Experience:
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to titrate drips: Tylenol, Keppra, Insulin(will consider without Insulin exp)
Preferred Skills/Experience: PICU
Types of Patients on Unit: Routine Peds stable MS, ages 0-18 years, intermediate peds, med/surg overflow, NICU feeder grower overflow (surgical- ortho, appys, GI, MVAs), respiratory, diabetics, seizure, failure to thrive, jaundice- Bili babies (rare)
Unit Details: Beds: 7
Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
Special Requests: Manager will consider block scheduling if meets unit needs.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or Every 3rd Weekend
- Holiday Requirement: 2 per year
Floating Requirements: As census fluctuates, RN to be mostly helping hands when floating to Maternity/Newborn nursery, NICU floors and could be utilized for 1:1 sitting - first to float.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
