CNA Jobs
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in the nursing industry as they provide basic care to patients and assist nurses with medical procedures. To become a CNA, an individual must have a high school diploma or GED, complete a state-approved education program, and pass a competency exam. Essential skills for a CNA include strong interpersonal and communication skills, physical stamina, empathy, and attention to detail. Prior to becoming a CNA, an individual may have had roles such as a Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or Medical Assistant. These roles provide valuable experience and exposure to the healthcare environment and patient care, offering a solid foundation for a career as a CNA.
