Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Floating requirements may change mid assignment.

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit: Care of patients with preeclampsia, manage a patient on Magnesium

Manage a patient in labor, provide post partum care, care of a baby, be able to deliver a baby if necessary.

Types of Patients on Unit: Nurse / Patient Ratio: Follow AWONN staffing guidelines

Equipment Used on Unit: Obix central fetal monitoring

Technology Used on Unit: Epic using Stork

Unit Details: 14 beds; 11 nursery

Others: Training and Orientation: Provide 12 hours of education/ orientation to the hospital and unit

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program 8th Edition)
