Job Description

We are urgently seeking caregivers to assist us with a male client in Elma who is paralyzed from the waist down. He needs help with his bowel program 3 days a week. There are 5 dogs in the house - they are very friendly but loud.

Required Credentials:

HCA or CNA

Nurse Delegation

CPR certificate

Food handler permit

Valid driver's license or state ID

Skills Needed:

Proven experience as a caregiver

Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)

Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Respectful and compassionate

Good time management skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Strong ethics

Physical endurance

High school diploma or equivalent

General Client Needs (Varies from client to client):

Household Care (laundry, meal prep, mopping)

Personal Care (bathing/toileting assistance, dressing, shaving)

Wellness (companionship, conversation, stand by assist)
