This role ensures that the program meets all California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements and prepares students with the knowledge, clinical skills, and professionalism needed for entry-level healthcare employment. The DON serves as the primary nursing authority for the program, supervising instructional staff, coordinating clinical training, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Requirements / Qualifications Letter of Introduction Resume 3 letters of reference Copy of credential ? Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing ? Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in long-term care or skilled nursing facility ? Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or training nurse aides or healthcare staff ?
