Key Qualifications: Active and unrestricted LPN or RN license required Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing preferred Strong understanding of epilepsy management; able to respond quickly and calmly to medical needs Comfortable with full-day, 1:1 student care including bus riding and classroom support Physically able to assist with two-person transfers and daily care routines Primary Responsibilities: Accompany and supervise a student with severe epilepsy throughout the school day, including during bus transportation Manage all aspects of the student's personal care: feeding, dressing, toileting, and transfers Ensure safety measures, such as use of the student's soft shell helmet outside the wheelchair, are strictly followed Administer medication and monitor for any signs of seizure activity or health concerns Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and medical personnel as needed This role offers between $40 and $50 per hour, and provides a unique opportunity to build professional experience in a school environment while making a difference in one student's life.
