Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation
• Follow hospital, ambulatory, and unit-specific policies, protocols, and safety standards

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

• Active New York State RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of RN experience in a hospital setting required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Experience in outpatient or acute care strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) may be required depending on specialty or unit assignment
