Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence.
- Administer medication and monitor health status as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being.
- Document client progress and report any changes to the care team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home health care preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic understanding of client care and safety protocols.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
