We are seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The DSP plays a critical role in fostering a safe, therapeutic, and family-like environment where residents can thrive and achieve greater independence.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with daily living skills and personal care
Administer medications and document services
Support medical appointments and community activities
Maintain a safe, structured, home-like environment
Communicate changes and complete required documentation
Act as a liaison and advocate for individuals and their families, facilitating access to community resources
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, EIHAB policies, and safety standards
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of related work or life experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years driving history).
Must complete and maintain all required training.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Able to bend, reach, and move throughout an 8-hour shift.
Perform repetitive tasks, engage in both individual and group settings, and meet strict deadlines.
