Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Must be able to meet the travel and scheduling demands of the role, which generally includes driving persons served. A valid drivers license is typically required; exceptions may be made based on site-specific NEEDS and/or circumstances.
- At least one year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or mental health needs, including those who require higher levels of behavioral support.
- Preference will be given to candides with experience providing intensive behavioral support
- Candides must be comfortable supporting individuals who may display behaviors such as hitting, kicking, biting, or elopement, and able to implement established behavioral support and safety protocol.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to pass background checks as applicable
- Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
- Possess basic computer skills
