We seek a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse who will serve as a vital member of our school community. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including managing chronic conditions, injuries, and acute illnesses. Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with special medical needs. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical and legal guidelines. Conduct screenings and health assessments for vision, hearing, and other health concerns. Promote health education and wellness activities for students, staff, and families. Collaborate with school administrators, counselors, and parents to support student well-being. Ensure compliance with state and district health regulations, including communicable disease protocols. Maintain accurate and confidential health records. Qualifications: Must hold a current LPN license in the state of Ohio. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Valid Ohio Department of Education License or ability to obtain licensure. CPR and First Aid certification required. Knowledge of state and federal health regulations related to school health services. Experience in pediatric or community health nursing preferred.
