Temporary Part-Time Caregiver Needed

Seeking a dependable and physically capable caregiver to provide support for an individual who uses a wheelchair. This is a temporary position (2 months) covering for a caregiver on vacation.

Details:

* Location: West Vancouver (ample parking available, and near bus stop)
* Dates: Jun 5 approx. Aug 15
* Schedule: 2 days per week (preferably Fridays & Saturdays; some flexibility)

Duties:

* Assist with dressing and personal care
* Help with transfers (wheelchair to chair, etc. must be physically strong)
* Meal preparation and basic cooking
* housekeeping (cleaning, organizing)
* Accompany to activities (including swimming and outings)

Requirements:

* Physically fit and able to assist with lifting
* Reliable, responsible, and punctual
* Good communication skills
* Clean and organized
* Previous caregiving experience preferred
* Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (valid work permit + SIN)
* This is not a cash job (paid position through payroll)
* Must be able to commute to West Vancouver

Short-term, meaningful role for someone who is compassionate and dependable.
