Respite Caregivers

Different positions available in multiple areas in Langley and Surrey!

Looking for Respite Caregivers. Working with youth all ages.
Offering support, teaching them basic daily life skills.

Assisting/supporting them to get to their appointments. Taking pride in the space they live in, role modeling this behavior.
Setting firm boundaries to assist and encourage them.

This position is 24 hour shifts in Foster home setting. You do sleep in the evenings. You do sleep there.

There are (full-time/part-time/casual positions available.
Awake overnight positions available/
Support shifts are also needed 4 - 8hr shifts

We are looking for specifically FOR DRIVERS with Vehicles.
Must speak clear English.

Basic Computer skills will be needed. You are responsible for filling out simple daily log, contact logs, and occasional incident reports.

Salary: Commensurate with Industry Standards

Other duties are:
- Carry out household duties such as meal preparation, household cleaning and dispensing medication as required in accordance with established guidelines procedures.
Driving to and from school and activities\appointments.

Perform other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid BC Class 5 driver's license with a clear drivers abstract.

Current CPR/First Aid
Criminal Record And prior contact check to be completed by the MCFD HUB

OTHER SKILLS:

-NVCI or CPI (Non-violent crisis intervention)
Or MANDT training. This can be provided after hired
