Job Summary

The Hartford HealthCare Heart and Vascular Institute Hartford Hospital is looking for an experienced nurse to join our Non-Invasive Cardiology team. The Non-Invasive Cardiology Department is composed of the Echocardiology Laborory and the Nuclear Stress Laborory. Over 14,000 echocardiograms and procedural echocardiograms as well as over 4,500 stress tests are performed yearly on inpients and outpients. Our nurses work in collaborion with echocardiology sonographers, nuclear technologists, cardiologists, cardiology fellows, and anesthesiologists to provide strong nursing support for all non-invasive testing. Our nurses play a vital role within these departments by utilizing their nursing knowledge, independence and autonomy. Our Non-Invasive department provides pients with cardiovascular screening, diagnostic testing, and pre and post-surgical testing. This position offers three roting fulltime shifts between 7am-5pm, no call, roting weekends, and only one holiday a year within a strong, supportive and stimuling environment

Current Connecticut RN License.
Gradue of an accredited nursing school (BSN required).
BLS certificion by the American Heart Associion required prior to de of hire.
Strong cardiology background preferred.
