Per Diem - RN - Hospice Inn Unit at St. Peter's Hospital
The Community Hospice has a rewarding opportunity for a per diem RN to work as a part of our Hospice Team at the Hospice Inpatient unit (HIPU) located on the 5th Floor at St. Peters Hospital.

What you will do:
- Works as a staff RN on the Hospice Inn unit
- Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive plan of care to provide added support to patients and families.
- This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a team (our teams include patient care techs, medical directors with specialized expertise in end of life care, social workers, chaplains, complementary therapists and volunteers).
What you will need:
- NYS RN Licensure
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- 1-2 years recent acute care experience, Hospice experience highly preferable
- Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and peers.
- Strong computer skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills

SPECIAL PER DIEM RATES BASED ON MONTHLY COMMITMENTS
Pay Range for non per diem : $38.00-$50.18 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
