Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from the last 4 years.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and cant expire during the expected contract dates.

Required Skills/Experience: Able to do labors, deliveries, and postpartum, would be amazing if had NICU experience too.

Required Credentials: RNs - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

Types of Patients on Unit: Level 1 maternal care. Low risk births, have the occasional mag and GDM patients.

Unit Details: Ratios: 1:3 mom babe couplets, 1:1 labors for the most part depending on the case

Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Special Requests: Would love to have someone who is flexible.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend Requirements: every 3rd
  • With Call
