Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to support quality patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, care expectations, and discharge instructions
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license required
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• BLS certification required (additional certifications preferred depending on unit)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and time-management skills
